Training

Based in Devon and covering the SW region of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, I provide learning and development opportunities for people in management roles.

Skills for Managers

People with responsibility for others rarely receive training in the ‘people’ side of managing. This is a particular issue for anyone in the transition into a management, business leader or team leader position. Developing skills and talents will bring significant rewards and savings to your organisation, such as:

  • getting the right people for the job
  • good quality induction and training programmes
  • efficient systems, processes and procedures
  • effective interpersonal skills
  • productive and motivated teams
  • sensitively handled conflict management
  • clear and appropriate communication
  • people working to the best of their potential
  • increased staff retention

I am passionate about supporting people to become excellent managers, and to nurture their commitment to  work of the highest quality in the service of others – both inside and outside of the organisation.

Who will benefit from my courses?

  • anyone who has a responsibility for managing or supervising others
  • a business owner who employs staff
  • people who manage or work with volunteers (whether as a volunteer or as an employee)
  • an aspiring, new or existing first line manager
  • your colleagues, your organisation and most importantly - your clients and customers!
